Live at the Eccles is a new series driving our community together at the Eccles Theater in downtown Salt Lake City with rockin' concerts, engaging talks, gut-busting comedies and shows the kiddos will never forget.
On September 15th, Live at the Eccles presented Science Friday (SciFri) Live hosted by the award-winning science journalist, Ira Flatow. SciFri Live is a weekly talk show that airs every Friday on nearly 400 public radio stations throughout the U.S.. In this Live segment, Ira Flatow and the rest of the SciFri crew hit the road to uncover and report the amazing science news and stories happening in and around Salt Lake City. The Live at the Eccles show gave attendees the opportunity to look behind the curtain of their favorite national radio show! They participated in a special live performance and conversation with the scientists about Great Salt Lake birds, the effect of light pollution and uncovered phystosaur remains near Bears Ears.
